Dr. Peter Spiers - Sr. Vice President
Dr. Spiers has more than 30 years of hands on hospital, healthcare medical group and professional consulting experience. He has held various senior healthcare executive positions including serving as a hospital and medical group Chief Executive.
Dr. Spiers has personally managed single and multispecialty medical groups including nationally recognized cardiothoracic surgery and cardiology medical group practices.
During his career he has served as a cardiovascular service-line administrator at 3 tertiary hospitals resulting in substantial program growth and profitability, while achieving exceptional clinical outcomes.
He has personally conducted over 30 hospital and 20 physician group practice projects covering the full spectrum of development and management services including hospital/practice start-ups, acquisitions, new service-line development, mergers and divestitures.
In 2003 he developed one of the first physician/hospital alignment models adopted by multiple health systems in the US. Dr. Spiers is a sought after national cardiovascular management expert by hospitals, physician groups and healthcare companies.
