New program and service feasibility is based upon multiple, critical factors, including:
- Strategic - Does the proposed project fit the strategic goals of the institution?
- Clinical - What must the institution do to possess the required clinical expertise?
- Operational - What operational challenges must be identified and addressed?
- Financial - What financial resources will the proposed project require and how will it perform over time?
- Political - Does the proposed project have the required political support from key stakeholders in the medical community and community at large?
