Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging Centers

Cardiovascular computed tomography angiography (CTA) and cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging (CMR) continue to evolve and have become important diagnostic tools to cardiac and vascular physicians.  CFA has been involved with these technologies for years, by maintaining relationships with early physician researchers and developers of the technology and sponsoring seminars on their utility.

CFA has developed a methodology and approach to feasibility assessment and business planning for advanced cardiovascular imaging that has been applied to hospitals (in-hospital sites and freestanding facilities), physician practices and joint ventures.  Included in these planning activities are analyses of key factors required to plan a successful project, including:

    • Control and usage
    • Political implications
    • Education, training and certification
    • Economics and reimbursement
    • Impact on current operations
    • Service development and marketing

CFA's longstanding involvement in advanced cardiovascular imaging provides a basis for assisting client practices in successful decision-making and startup of new services.
